漫画家カネコアツシは1992年のデビュー以降、『BAMBi 』『デスコ』等を始めとした多くの傑作漫画作品を手掛け、国内外の漫画祭で高く評価されています。またイラストレーターとしても活躍し、近年ではオリジナルアート作品での個展開催を行うなど、圧倒的な支持を得るアーティストです。
2度目の原画展となる本展では、これまで手掛けてきた漫画作品の原画にフォーカスし、アナログ原稿の初期短編作品、絶大な人気を誇る連載作品の数々や、デジタル作画で描く最新作『EVOL』まで、第一回目の個展とは異なるこれまで手掛けてきた作品を幅広く展示すると共に、緻密な物語の鍵を秘めた設定画や、制作やプロットの礎となるマインドマップなども展示を行い、俯瞰することで、カネコ作品の根幹を探ります。
また、展覧会の為の描き下ろし作品、原画の販売や、展覧会オリジナルグッズの販売、2023年に配信がスタートしたDMM TVオリジナルドラマ『EVOL』で使用した衣装や小道具なども、共に展示を予定しております。

イラストレーターとしてもCDジャケットなど数多くの作品を手掛ける。オムニバス映画「乱歩地獄」の一編「蟲」(原作/江戸川乱歩 主演/浅野忠信)では脚本、監督も務めた。著作は英語、フランス語、イタリア語、スペイン語、ドイツ語、韓国語等に翻訳され、出版されている。
「Wet Moon」フランスBD批評家協会賞2014アジア部門グランプリ受賞。「SOIL」サンマロ文学祭GRAND PRIX DE L’IMAGINAIREマンガ部門グランプリ受賞。アングレーム国際漫画祭2012、2013、2015、2024ノミネート。「デスコ」文化庁メディア芸術祭2015審査委員推薦作品選出。
現在、最新作『EVOL（イーヴォー）』を月刊コミックビームで連載中。今作はDMM TVにて『EVOL』（監督：山岸聖太/主演：青木柚 /伊礼姫奈 /服部樹咲）が実写ドラマとして配信中。

Since his debut in 1992, the manga artist Atsushi Kaneko has created a number of masterpiece manga works, including “BAMBi” and “Deathco,” and has been highly acclaimed in domestic and international cartoon festivals. He is also active as an illustrator. Kaneko is an artist with overwhelming support, having held solo exhibitions of his original artworks in recent years.
This is the second exhibition of his original drawings, focusing on the original drawings of manga works he has worked on to date and exhibiting many of his immensely popular serialized works not featured in the first exhibition up to the latest digitally drawn work “EVOL.” This exhibition also explores the roots of Kaneko’s works by exhibiting and providing an overview of the model sheets that hold the keys to the elaborate stories and mind maps that serve as a foundation for the production and plotting.
In addition, newly created works for the exhibition and original drawings as well as exhibition original goods will be on sale, and the costumes and props used in the DMM TV original drama “EVOL,” which became available for broadcast in 2023, are also planned be displayed.
